With Daimler as a strategic investor, we developed the leading European inter-city ridesharing service, helping it grow to more than 6 million users while cutting millions of carbon emissions. In Europe, the average car travels with fewer than 1.2 occupied seats. Our service connected drivers and passengers to better leverage those empty seats. We also helped the service improve functionality and build customer trust by designing innovative add-ons and features, such as a driver-rider matching system and custom-tailored insurance products. The service was so effective that the company successfully exited to BlaBlaCar, shaping a unicorn in the mobility space.
We are driving a comprehensive digital transformation for Roemheld & Moelle, a German “Mittelstand” company with a rich tradition in iron casting. The transformation touches all corners of the foundry organization, from digitizing existing processes to launching new digital innovations. Our work builds on Roemheld & Moelle’s deep expertise in casting and its infrastructure, with the goal of keeping long-term production in Germany and cutting back on emissions.
Based on Munich Re’s unique customer access and subject matter domain, we are building a peer-to-peer marketplace thatenables farmers to borrow and rent agricultural machines. Farmers typically dole out hefty sums for specialized machines that remain unused most of the time. By creating a marketplace for exchange, we’re driving resource-efficient agriculture and establishing a more circular economy. The platform is designed with integrated smart insurance products so that both parties can use it with peace of mind.
Together with the German DAX corporation Munich Re, we developed and launched a fintech platform in Brazil to support sustainable agriculture in Brazil. The marketplace aims to finance farmer’s pre-seasonal input requirements and hence secures better and faster access to credits for sustainable, ESG-conform farming. AgriFin integrates expertise of several disciplines like risk rating, collateralization minimizing manual processes, and dealing with international money transfer regulations. Adopting AI and Munich Re’s existing risk assessment expertise, a market of US165bn is approached in Brazil alone.
We helped ipso, an international mental health NGO, create a stand-alone commercial service to complement its non-profit work. Through tech and implementation consulting, we guided the launch of My7steps, a platform for psychological support based on Ipso’s bespoke method, known as Value Based Counseling (VBC). The platform was so successful that it was quickly integrated into the offerings of Germany’s major health insurers.
